Nevada Issues Warning Over Mislabeled Cannabis Edibles

The THC to CBD ratio is off.

The Nevada Cannabis Compliance Board (CCB) issued a Public Health and Safety Bulletin 2024-01 on June 21, 2024, advising consumers and patients to exercise caution when consuming the cannabis that is the subject of this notice.

The following cannabis packages passed laboratory testing. However, the products were mislabeled at a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD, when in fact it was produced at a 2:1 ratio of THC to CBD. The THC was labeled correctly; however, the label shows 10mg of CBD when it was tested at only 5mg CBD per serving. The CCB advises consumers to take caution when consuming the identified lot number(s):

The affected cannabis packages were sold at the following cannabis sales facilities between May 26, 2024 – June 21, 2024:

4. LIVFREE WELLNESS dba The Dispensary (License #: 64345737726226352455), 8605 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123.

5. KYND – STRAINZ LLC dba Mynt Cannabis Dispensary (License #: 46934338604709544132), 132 E. 2nd Street, Reno, NV 89501

6. LEMON AIDE LLC dba Mynt Cannabis Dispensary (License #: 13244303247046007918), 340 Lemmon Drive Suite A, Reno, NV 89506 The listed sales facilities are requested to display this bulletin in a conspicuous location on their premises for 30 days, to ensure their customers are aware of this information.
